Due to international expansion, Visma is now offering an exciting opportunity for finance professionals. The Business Controller is a key figure in the operational team in the company. The right candidate will have a higher degree in finance or accounting, and minimum three years experience from similar work in software, telecom or high tech industries.
As Business Controller your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a reliable framework for decision making, for support of the managing director and the management team. This includes preparation and control of financial statements, key performance indicators, forecasts and risk analysis. Specifically, the business controller is in charge of:
Tasks
• Internal control routines, risk analysis
• Board and management reports
• Key Performance Indicators
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Profitability improvement initiatives and cost control
• Follow up of incentive schemes and sales commissions
• Lead and be accountable for improvement projects on data quality and automation
Competencies
• Knowledge of Human Capital Management, HR Systems and business intelligence
• Proficiency in English, with good communication skills
• Good spreadsheet knowledge
• Some management experience
• Good understanding of customers, market models, competitive landscape and products in the relevant industry
Personal attributes
• Systematic, organised, precise and hands-on
• Analytical problem solver, with capability and desire to ask critical questions
• Numerate and analytical
