About the job
Alfa Laval has developed a digital tool for handling investment approvals. You will own the system and be responsible for driving further roll out within the group and facilitate that development is driven in the most suitable direction.
As Business Controller Real Estate, you're a partner in creating a common approach to Alfa Laval's facility management. As the function is still under development, you will work closely together with the Group Real Estate manager to set new processes and activities. Three main areas are within your scope.
Development activities, such as develop common governing documents, templates and processes, develop the system for internal rent setting and the system for the annual investment and maintenance forecasts.
Periodic activities, such as quarterly reviews, run collection and cleaning of master data, prepare annual changes in the internal financial reporting structure etc.
Other recurring activities, such as support and review of major real estate investments or support centrally steered real estate related projects.
Group Real Estate is part of Alfa Laval's Finance function. The position is located in Lund and you will report to Staffan Holfelt, Group Real Estate Manager. You will also have a dotted line to Operations Business Controller Jakob Nilsson and be a member of the Operations Business Control team, where you contribute to best practice and drive development of financial analysis, performance management and reporting processes.

What you know
We're looking for a Business controller with a good strategic understanding and experience from supporting business decisions. Experience from working with investment projects is a merit. We believe you have 5-8 years' relevant experience whereof at least 2 within Business controlling, preferably in an international environment combined with a matrix organization. You have experience from using Power BI for analyses. We believe you have a university degree in Finance and/or Business administration and are fluent in English.
