We're on the hunt for a dedicated and proficient Business Controller for an exciting role with our client in Västerås.
In your role as a Business Controller, you will:
• Coordinate regular project reviews.
• Monitor and actively optimize the cost control, cash flow, revenues, profit, and gross margin of ongoing projects.
• Identify opportunities and risks, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented on time.
• Provide financial support to the project team and review and improve current procedures and reporting requirements.
• Manage and oversee currency risks, prepare hedging for projects, and monitor monthly payment collections and FX impact on projects.
• Support in handling claims, back-charges, and insurance cases.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvements in the Controlling function.
• Ensure compliance with the Internal Control process for Order-to-Cash (O2C).
Your background
• A financial degree at bachelor/master level
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Organized and thorough.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and strive for continuous process improvements.
• Preferably an accounting or finance background with SAP (PS/PP/MM) and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in both Swedish and English.
