Scania R&D is looking for a controller to the Engine Development Department. The department has a yearly budget of close to 1.000 MSEK and over 500 employees. You will forecast, follow up and steer the operations together with the existing department controller and the department managers. Engine Development is a complex and stimulating environment where the right person can thrive, deliver value and influence.
Job description and responsibilities
The controller's main mission is to present clear and relevant decision material to the management. Main responsibilities include:
Budget and forecast (Hyperion)
Follow up of development costs, project hours and resource allocation
Profitability calculations NPV
KPI follow up and presentations
Investments administration
Material and product cost analysis
You will be the financial expert and local support to the department in financial related issues. You are also expected to maintain and develop internal financial processes within the department, as well as work in cross functional collaborations.
Your profile
You are a business controller with a suitable university degree and/or an engineer with relevant work experience and a strong interest in controlling. We believe that you appreciate to work with different and shifting demands and that you want to impact. To fit the role you should be a curious, open-minded and driven person. You need to be a team player who can also work independently. You are structured and you have a strong customer focus. You need to enjoy helping people. An interest in improvement work is required to take on the role. Furthermore, you need to be a good communicator and express yourself well in written and spoken Swedish and English.
