Scania R&D is looking for a controller to the Emission Solutions Development Department. The controller will forecast, follow up and steer the operations together with the departments managers. Emission Solutions Development is a relatively new department with over 100 employees and the mission to be world leader within exhaust aftertreatment systems in the Volkswagen Truck & Bus group. The controller has an important role in this mission.
Job description and responsibilities
The controller's main mission is to present clear and relevant decision material to the management. Main responsibilities include:
Budget and forecast
Follow up of development costs, project hours and resource allocation
Support in profitability calculations
Follow up on Key Performance Index and presentations
Investments planning and administration
Material and product cost analysis
You will be the financial expert and local support in financial related issues in the department. You will also ensure planning and execution of the rollout of new processes and tools within your role, as well as work in cross functional collaborations. You will have some project coordination responsibility connected to controlling.
Your profile
You are a business controller with a suitable university degree and/or an engineer with relevant work experience and a strong interest in controlling. We believe that you appreciate to work with different and shifting demands and that you want to take responsibility within your area. To fit the role you should be a curious, open-minded and driven person. You need to be a team player who can also work independently. You are structured and you have a strong customer focus. An interest in improvement work is required to take on the role. Furthermore, you need to be a good communicator and express yourself well in written and spoken Swedish and English.
