Business Controller Digital Development
Business Control is a part of SAS Finance, a corporate function within SAS that includes the following areas of responsibilities: Financial Services and Group Accounting, Tax, Fleet Management, Facilities, Investor Relations, Treasury, Fuel management as well as Business Control for all divisions within SAS including Group Business Control. Main focus areas for the Finance department are: Secure best possible financing. Drive and lead efficient financial processes. Ensure best practice financial management- and business support to all divisions. Ensure performance transparency and work for a "know your numbers" culture where cost savings and revenue initiatives are delivered according to commitment.
As Business Controller for Digital Development you will be responsible for the financial overview of SAS' digital development project portfolio. You will work close to line managers in IT development projects. Your role as business controller is to be a sounding board as well as to challenge plans and perspectives in order to secure profitability for the SAS Group. Your responsibility is also to ensure the continuous improvement of financial processes and your daily work.
Main areas of responsibilities:
Manage financial consolidation, analysis and reporting for business unit
Responsibility for forecasting, business review, and budget process
Business case development support and quality check
Risk analysis of portfolio and individual projects
Providing transparent financial perspective in project prioritization
Drive and participate in projects aiming at improving financial results across SAS
Ensuring establishment of common process standards within business unit
Be part and work closely with the units' management team and be a challenging sounding board with the aim of improving processes in order to reduce costs
Providing analysis to management
Optimize current and future contracts with regards to price models, cash flow, cost allocation, and cost flexibility
Ensure effective allocation of all cost related to suppliers, both for long-term and short-term contracts
Drive improvements in internal processes
Experience and Background:
University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or equivalent
Experience from financial planning and analysis
Preferable experience of digital development projects
Solid general business understanding
Project management and understanding of project dynamics
Quantitative analysis (e.g. statistics or similar)
Communication (oral and written) in English
MS Excel and Powerpoint
Personal profile:

The position is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna and will be part of the Business Control IT & Digital Innovation team.
