hela Sverige You will be part of Real Estate in Västerås and Ludvika. The Real Estate unit is responsible for ABB's properties and provides premises and land to ABB Sweden. The properties include around 700,000 square meters at about 30 different locations in Sweden. We have a total of 20 coworkers located at our two offices in Västerås and Ludvika.
This is a broad role at the heart of ABB's Real Estate business, where you will manage both business project and business controlling. As part of a small organization with a controller function consisting of only two people, you can look forward to varied and interesting tasks with great responsibility. You will both manage multiple construction projects with budgets ranging from 100, 000 SEK to 300 million SEK and perform financial controlling and ongoing accounting tasks related to our Real Estate business. You will handle K3 reporting as well as review complex issues regarding, for example, real estate statements, VAT and taxes. You will work closely with, and provide key support to, our local business unit controller, whom you will stand in for on occasion.
This is a stimulating and complex position in which you can make a difference to an important part of ABB.
You have a university degree in Finance with specialization in Accounting. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent competence through relevant work experience. Regardless of background, you need at least five years' experience from working as controller or accountant, preferably at an accounting firm or in a real estate business. Other necessary qualities are knowledge in USGAAP and K3 rules and regulations as well as written and verbal proficiency in both Swedish and English. Experience from the real estate business, particularly from real estate taxes and VAT, is highly desirable.
We expect you to take initiative within your areas of responsibility and to achieve excellent results both individually and as part of a team. Since you plan and execute your commitments effectively, you make sure deadlines are met and that reporting is in line with legal guidelines as well as quality standards. Last but not least, you are a committed, service-minded and responsive person with strong collaboration and communication skills.
