hela Sverige Scania, as a part of the TRATON group, are working in close cooperation with our partner brands to find synergies where we utilize each brand's unique competences to create best possible business opportunities supporting Scania's overall strategy driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.
Cross Brand Operations (XKS) have the main responsibility to examine and evaluate Scania's commercial opportunities in business setups with other brands within TRATON and with its existing and future alliance partners. Our assignment involves setting up frame agreements and contracts as well as ensuring that Scania is prepared to handle the business when it is up and running. This work is done cross-functionally and in close cooperation with the product development projects that are often closely connected to the different business scopes. After start of production Cross Brand Operations have the responsibility to manage and follow up the business relationship connected to respective contract.
The business connected to cooperation within TRATON will growing rapidly the coming years, including everything from conventional powertrain to new cooperation areas such as eMobility and Autonomous Driving, and consequently we see the need to extend the team with additional team members. As Business Controller at Cross Brand Operations you will belong to a team consisting of eight employees with a wide range of competences and experiences from different parts of Scania and the automotive industry.
The role
You will become a key player in the team acting as our finance and business control expert. You will work close to your Business Manager colleagues and take part in strategic and commercial discussions to safeguard the interests and profitability of Scania and the TRATON group. Your assignment will include tasks such as:
• following up, analysing and evaluating already running businesses with our partner brands in regards to e.g. transfer pricing, cost development, sales volume, result, etc.
• supporting the business managers in the work of evaluating new business opportunities and take an active role to ensure that we have solid business cases considering all financial aspects
• collect, analyse and compile data to produce financial reports internally within Scania and externally towards TRATON.
• on demand prepare presentations and present to senior and executive management
• taking an active role in developing and maintaining the associated financial processes and methods to ensure that Scania is ready to handle the current and future business relationships.
Your profile
You are enthusiastic, liable, well-structured and analytical. Of course you have a great interest in finance and business controlling, but this is also an ideal position if you see yourself as business minded and have the interest in combining technical, commercial and financial aspects into one context. Cross Brand Operations' assignment is performed in close collaboration with a large number of functions within Scania and TRATON and it is therefore important that you are communicative and feel comfortable working with a large network. You should be fluent in English both in speaking and writing.
You have a master's degree in the field of business & administration or relevant experience and preferably at least three years of work experience as business controller or similar. Previous experience and good knowledge about Scania is considered meritorious.
