As a member of the Program Finance team the Program Business Controller is responsible for the financial controls of complete vehicle and/or architecture programs. The team have successfully supported the development of the Lynk&Co 01 vehicle and the CMA architecture for the all new Volvo XC40 and other Lynk&Co vehicles. To strengthen the innovation capacity of CEVT, the Program Finance team is also supporting innovation projects and ad-hoc assignments.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Responsible for the financial controls of complete vehicle or architecture programs during the program strategy, concept and industrialization stages according to our product development system.
* Supporting innovation projects with financial control and investment appraisal, and ad-hoc assignments with partners and in collaboration with customers, suppliers, research institutes, authorities, small and middle-sized companies etc.
* Participating and reporting the financial status in project meetings and communicating all relevant information to Executive Management
* Liaise with Geely Group regarding business case calculation principles and assumptions incl. occasional travel to China
* Represent finance in cross-functional investigations and groups, for example conceptual choice decisions from a financial point of view
Profile and Background
* University degree in Finance, Business Administration and/or Engineering
* 5 years of financial project management (preferably from the Automotive industry)
* Structured and analytical with a thorough mindset
* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in teams in a changing environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluent in English and preferable Swedish or/and Chinese
* Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture is an advantage
* Curious, and eager to learn new things. Ability to maintain a positive attitude
