The Business controller will report to the Local Manager/Business Support Manager in Nordic but will work closely together with the Nordic Management team and Business Controllers in Region Europe.
Job description and responsibilities
• Make sure that business decisions are carried out in accordance with the policy and guidelines set by AB Volvo - the Volvo way
• Support business decision for all business segments
• Responsibility for all financial reporting and operational follow-up (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly)
• Overall responsible for the accounting, including the Nordic countries, coordinated by Volvo Trucks
• Responsible for monthly closing and year end closing
• Responsible for the plan and forecasting process for Market Unit Nordic
• Responsible for year-end audit, including properly updating all procedures in accordance with the AB Volvo Penta authorisation policy
• Prepare material for management meetings, business follow ups, etc.
• Support Pricing
• Back up Credit Control if needed

Qualifications
• Educated to a MSc. level in finance or equivalent
• Accounting and controller experience from a large cap company
• Advanced skills in Excel, data base
• Good skills in SAP R3, JDE and Global Data Warehouse
• Experience from working in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach is essential
• High integrity and distinct communication skills
• Drive with a sense of urgency
• Thrive in a fast changing environment
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both orally and written
• Passion for improvement and continuous development
