We are looking for a Business Controller within Sales and Marketing to our Business Unit Away from Home Professional Hygiene, Region North.
Business Unit Away from Home Professional Hygiene Europe, with the global brand Tork, is market leader in Europe within the Away-from-Home segment. The Tork brand offers professional hygiene products and services to customers ranging from restaurants and healthcare facilities to offices, schools and industries. Products include dispensers, paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, napkins, and industrial and kitchen wipers. Through expertise in hygiene, functional design and sustainability, Tork has become a market leader. Tork is a global brand of SCA, and a committed partner to customers in over 80 countries.
The position is located in Gothenburg and you will report to the Regional Controlling Director, AfH Region North.
Main Tasks
The S&M Controller performs analysis and controls in regards to the financial performance of a Business Unit covering several countries. The role is responsible for the execution of financial controls including all aspects of profit center accounting, revenue and cost control, financial systems and procedures in adherence with prescribed corporate policies and BU guidelines. The S&M Controller analyses the financial performance of the Business Unit in a defined area and propose corrective actions to improve performance to support business targets and objectives.
Support local Sales and Marketing organizations in monitoring of overall performance and deviations
Active part and sparring partner of the Local Management Teams
Prepares and provides insights to the Local Management Teams in all operational financial aspects
Leading the local monthly and year-end closing processes
Secure financial planning processes (Budget/Forecast/Financial Plan)
Ad hoc analysis as a base for decisions and corrective actions
Co-operate effectively with the Sales and Marketing teams to optimize business results and activities.
Follow controlling standards and other SCA policies such as internal control and legal regulations
Support and train the organization in the use of financial IT Systems
Key Competencies
University degree in relevant discipline
Desirable 4-5 years of controlling experience in a similar role
Fluent in English and in Swedish, both verbal and written.
High-level skills in MS-office especially Excel
Strong analytical and planning skills
Sound financial understanding and accounting know how
Experience from working in SAP or similar systems
