To an international IT company we are now looking for a Business Controller.
You will be part of a Controller team and reporting to the Finance Director for the region. The main purpose for the role is to support, control & drive revenue, profitability and capital management for several customer facing units, whose function is sales and delivery for various customers.
Your main responsibilities will be to structure & drive performance management with the unit leader, management team and project managers:
• Target setting / budgeting / forecasting.
• Closing, analysis, follow-up, remedial actions, driving to completion.
• Project control and accounting support.
• Be part of management team that owns and drives the business.
Included in these responsibilities is:
• Supporting unit leader in management reviews.
• Operational analysis & improvement.
• Project review together with unit leader, secures action & results.
• Being the expert for project accounting, structure and revenue recognition.
• Internal management reporting.
Your main point of contacts will be:
• Unit leaders & management team
• Customer responsible managers
• Project managers
• Central Finance (onshore and offshore)
Who are you:
To be successful in this role we believe you have formal business study / accounting qualification and at 3-5 years of experience from finance roles. Preferably from a project based industry and sales driven organization.
You are a structured and analytical person with strong drive and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Strong communication and influencing skills that enables you to translate, often complex, issues to business (non-financial) people and drive to secure financial performance.
We are looking for a person to grow with us and therefore a person who has the potential to move into more senior positions in the future.
You have excellent skills in Swedish and working knowledge in English.
