Financial & Business Analysis Support - Projects - Medical Technology

As a Business Controller hired on this position, you will be a part of Finance team and focus on the business support activities and projects spanning from Operations through R&D and Sales.

You will report to Vice President Finance & IT. The position offers a very unique opportunity to be close to decision makers at HemoCue and have an influence on the directions that the company follows. Additionally, as HemoCue is part of Radiometer and Danaher Group, the position offers a fantastic start to a potentially highly dynamic international career with ability to grow and develop professionally in many possible directions.

The job

To be successful, you must offer qualified financial and business support to HemoCue management. Your responsibilities, among others, will include:

• Being a business partner for managers and project leaders from various areas of the company, providing financial and business analysis support.
• Analysis of the financials and participation in the preparation of forecasts for various business areas, interaction and sparring with those responsible for the departments.
• Assistance in preparation of the annual budget and strategic plans in cooperation with management, as well as following up on these by measuring Key Performance Indicators and driving progress on most important projects.
• Leadership and/or supporting role on various ad hoc projects, which may include profitability analyses of commercial initiatives and new products, strategic investments, risk management projects, M&A, capital investments, and other efforts to continuously improve the existing processes and support the key business activities.

Travel activity of 5 to 10% is to be expected.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration/Economics, or similar
• 2 to 3 years of experience within finance/accounting/controlling (multiple entry points possible depending on your background and characteristics)
• English is a requirement
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
