hela Sverige Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world-leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and construction industries. This business area is growing fast and we need to strengthen the organization and are looking for a Business Controller to be based at Sandvik Mining and Construction's Head Office in Sandviken.
The SMC Finance department consists today of five people altogether and you will be working in an international environment, with extensive communication with our managers worldwide.
Key performance areas
As a Business Controller your main responsibilities will be to:
• Develop and implement business performance analysis tools
• Audit and develop financial processes within SMC
• Review activities to detect and correct problems and errors
• Participate in accounts closing processes, incl. analyses and investigations
• Maintain and develop financial guidelines
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions
• Review and develop compliance, auditing and reporting quality throughout the business area
• Participate in development of Group Finance IT tools
• Provide business controlling support to SMC Senior Vice President for Marketing & Sales
• Manage finance competency development programs and activities for the SMC Finance global community
You will report to the Deputy CFO of SMC.
The job includes international travelling.
Your profile
You have a university degree within finance and at least three years' experience from finance and controlling. Experience from both production and sales operations in an international environment are an advantage. Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards is a must as is experience and interest in IT tools.
You possess a strong drive and are result oriented. You have a strong analytical capability and can handle large amounts of information. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
