As a Business Controller you support and advise the business and FP&A manager. You enjoy being flexible with ad hoc matters and new activities. Your analytical view focuses on the trends and developments in the business, and you understand their consequences for the results. In the meantime, you listen carefully to the questions that arise within the organization, and you enter discussions with management, directors, and other colleagues outside of finance with carefully constructed answers.
You will work in the Controlling team, part of FP&A and Accounting. Both within and between the domains, we regularly work together, we discuss overarching topics, and we attach great value to knowledge sharing and team development.
Main tasks & responsibilities
• Support the Accounting Team for specific needs, especially on the month end closing (fleet, IFRS9)
• Monitoring our business performance on our both PnL and Business intelligence system
• Control Supplier bonus
• Control Customer bonus provision
• Control the profit-sharing provision on Used Car Sales
• Discrepancies between actuals and budget
• Continuous improvement with a focus on processes and the financial, operational, and business KPIs
• Prepare specific financial analyses on the results
• Analyzing and discussing management and financial information with the business and the Business Controller
• Analyze business processes and develop cost saving controls
• Prepare management reports
• Prepare internal reporting in time, to various stakeholders within the ALD group
• Prepare balance sheet, account for various business units, and ensure effectiveness of process
We are looking for someone with:
• A University degree in business administration (major in economics, finance, etc.) or automotive engineering
• Approximately 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of financial analysis including internship.
• Previous experience in Financial Analysis (FP&A), Business or Financial Control, Transaction Services or audit
• Expertise in the field of pricing strategies, cost accounting and benchmarking (in the Automotive sector would be a plus).
• Agile use of Excel, ideally PowerBi and other data analysis tools
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish both verbally and in text
• The ability to improve existing models and share new insights with the team
• Preference for structure and sharp analytical skills with a focus on details
• High ambition, creativity, and a sense of responsibility
• Team player mentality
• A positive and enthusiastic mindset working in a mobility market that is constantly changing
