If this sounds like a challenge you're interested in, we're now looking for a Business Controller for Viaplay Acquired and Scripted Content to strengthen the team in our office in Stockholm.
The position
In this role, your main mission is to engage in and develop financial forecasting for our Content offering to enable informed business decisions. You will play a key role in ensuring that we continue to operate effectively and bring great value to our organization.
You will be part of an experienced financial team. You will report to the Head of Finance Viaplay Studios and Content Forecasting and will be working daily with other stakeholders from the Finance and Content organization.
Main responsibilities include:
• Keeping Content function Forecasting (Acquired and Own Productions) for different territories up do date with latest available information from various sources.
• The preparation and analyses of Content function monthly estimates, budget and long-term planning
• Alignment with stakeholders within Programming, Finance and Acquisitions to make sure financial prognosis is up to date
• Assisting in content approval processes
• Development and improvement of work routines and processes
• Providing information and analysis for different parts of Organization
• Ad-hoc projects and tasks
• Involvement in Viaplay Studios monthly reporting
• Involvement in Viaplay Studios Internal controls reviewing processes
• Working with large datasets

What we are looking for
To excel really well in this position, we expect you to be analytical and have the ability to deliver accurately and timely. Your drive and ability to take initiatives will be highly valued.
Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or engineering
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial controlling, business controlling or auditing
• Problem solving attitude and hands-on approach
• Value responsibility, fast-paced teamwork and straightforward communication
• High attention to detail with strong execution skills
• Great communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong English skills, both spoken and written
