In order to take the company's story to the next level, we're now looking for a Business Controller to join the team, on site in central Stockholm.
About the role
A Business Controller at Quickspin plays a key role with proactively driving the company towards profitable growth and securing a financial perspective to our cross-functional teams. You will be working closely with our Management team as well as collaborating frequently with our Finance Team. The finance team focus on improving existing, and establishing new processes within budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, and so you you will contribute to the budgeting and forecasting activities, making sure the plans are in line with the overall strategic objectives. Quickspin may be a Swedish company, but we are multi-cultural with over 25 different nationalities and therefore use English as our company language.
You will be involved in setting and creating the KPIs and analyze the business/financial results. Tasks include helping to identify variances in the actual performance versus the initial targets, and organize follow-up processes around these variances. In this role, you will be Quickspin's internal financial advisor, making thorough profitability analysis, and actively supporting the business functions with initiatives and projects from the financial perspective. You will also be a part of the monthly financial closing process, and participate in setting and developing the reporting structure, owning the preparation of ad hoc and monthly presentations. We have just started to build up a new structure within Finance to improve the quality and efficiency of our work, hence this role will play a significant part for the development of both our department and the company.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's degree within Business/Economics, or similar A few years work experience of similar tasks
Previous work experience & knowledge of accounting
Strong analytical and numerical skills and feel comfortable handling and analyzing a large amount of data.
Ability to present data & financial perspectives in an understanding way to the organization
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Powerpoint etc).
Experience or knowledge working with IFRS
Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish as well as English
Experience with SAP is a merit
