We are looking for a Business Controller to join our team who will be working both hands-on and strategic with various stakeholders within the organisation. You will work closely with all operational colleagues to support management with interpreting and compiling of financial results in order to reach our full potential and take cost conscious decisions. The role requires good operational understanding and the connection between operation and finance will be crucial. You will be working close to the business with a focus on improving and developing the organisation's result and key figures.

• Monitoring and analysis of monthly results.
• Provide support to the accounting team in the monthly book-closing process.
• Secure monthly provisions and stock quality control.
• Create financial awareness in the organisation and support the operational colleagues and management with interpreting and analysis of financial results and key figures.
• Responsible for our forecast tool and secure compliance with the monthly forecasting process.
• Work with continuous improvements of controlling processes and BI software.
• Make sure we have all data collected for reports on selected KPI's.
• Responsible for presenting analysis of results and making suggestions for cost control and corrective measures.
• Take a leading role in the budget process and follow up on result in relation to budget during the year.
• Be a part in the financial planning of the company, provide calculation and analysis of the achievement of business plan targets.
• Compile various ad-hoc financial reports.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate who has a university degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration. You have previous experience as a Business controller, preferably in an international company, and are ready to take on a broader role with greater analytical responsibility. You have a strong business mindset and drive to continuously improve the quality in the organisation to ensure a strong financial result. You have a good understanding of accounting. You are a true Excel wizard and will be the Excel expert in our organisation. N-O-S is using Jeeves as ERP- system and Insight as BI tool and previous experience of ERP-systems and BI tools as a super user or similar is a clear advantage.
To succeed in this position, you need to enjoy collaborating with colleagues on all levels in the organisation and is motivated by creating financial awareness amongst your colleagues. You are good at understanding and explaining the reality behind the numbers and have a strong analytic mindset. You are not afraid to voice your opinion on what actions the organisation can take to improve its financial result both on a short- and long-term perspective.
You have a strong drive to achieve goals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You are flexible by nature, have the ability to work independently and have a good overview of the business you work in. You are fluent in both a Scandinavian language and English.
You will report to our Business Control Manager.
Terms of employment
This position will start as soon as possible. You will be based at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden or Kastrup, Denmark. This is a permanent employment with a probationary period of six months.
