As a Business Controller in our team, you will enjoy the pace and spirit in a growing company, supporting on all standard controlling tasks and implementing modern business intelligence solutions, while as a business partner being part of tactical considerations and long term strategic discussions together with your primary stakeholders.
In this role, you will be the Finance Business Partner to New Business. New Business is an organization within Axis with teams mainly in Lund, Sweden and Prague, Czech Republic. The department has market oriented product and solutions resources, product development resources and a Mergers & Acquisitions team. The ambition is to leverage on Axis existing expertise and capacity which build on a flexible and open co-operation with other departments.
What will you do?
Key responsibilities will consist of traditional and strategic management control, including ownership of the forecasting process, mirroring of cost and income across functions, monthly reporting and follow-up.
You will work closely with the management teams within New Business, where you will be exposed to cross-functional work and projects on various levels, including M&A projects.
You will together with Finance and IT/IS develop and implement Qlik Sense initiatives, and be part of the roll-out of our new forecasting tool, Anaplan. You will be an important part of further developing our controlling function, influencing the way we work, creating and improving processes and tools.
Who are we looking for?
As a person you are service minded and analytical. You have a pro-active approach and are detail oriented while also having the ability to take a holistic view. It is important that you take ownership, and put great pride into the quality of your work. You strive to be close to the business. When it comes to supporting business decisions, you dare to challenge, you are a good communicator, and you are able to present various angles to different parts of the organization.
You have a great track record from controlling, and are eager to constantly develop and improve. You find it enhancing working in a fast-growing business, where systems and structure not always are following the pace of business, but where you have the opportunity to make an impact when creating the solutions.
The person that we are looking for have at least 7 years' experience working with finance, of which minimum 2 years within controlling. As a controller we expect you to have advanced skills in Excel. If you have experience from Qlik Sense and Anaplan, project management or from mergers and acquisitions, it is a plus.
