Alfa Laval Sourcing operates in a global environment and manages 65% of cost of goods sold through effective supplier relationship management. We interact with all major Business Units securing optimal supplier performance for our all our product and service needs. We are a process-oriented organization with a global focus and local presence. About the job
As Business Controller in Global Sourcing, you're a partner working with other functions in the organization to drive business improvements and change and contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions in the management team. Your role also includes more customary and recurrent responsibilities of a Sourcing Controller, such as follow up on savings, standard cost, reporting and input to the forecast process. As part of the Global team and with the transformation journey Alfa Laval is on, your responsibilities will include to:
* Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, build scenarios and recommend actions
* Ensure accurate financial information used in Operations, Global Sourcing and procurement activities in each BU to improve commercial and operational processes
* Contribute to the definition and implementation of the strategy with KPI's to ensure targets are met
* Lead and participate in strategic and operational transformation projects.
You work closely with stakeholders in all Business Units. The position is located in Lund and you will report to Peter Börjesson VP Global Sourcing and be a member of the Global Sourcing management team. You will also have a dotted line to Operations Business Controller Jakob Nilsson and be a member of the Operations Business Control team, where you contribute to best practice and drive development of financial analysis, performance management and reporting processes.

What you know
We're looking for a Business controller with a good strategic understanding and experience from working in management teams and supporting business decisions. Experience from Sourcing, Procurement or Supply Chain is a merit. You have minimum 5 years' experience of controller work in an international environment and good skills in cross cultural relations. You have a university degree in Finance and/or Business administration and are fluent in English.
