We are developing the complete system for the autonomous transport solution. On-board and off-board systems are created to ensure that our solution can handle all challenges moving forward.
The development of these systems is generating opportunities but also challenges when the world of autonomy is moving faster, and the connection between technology and business keeps getting stronger. We have created a global organization to handle this fast-moving environment for all brands in the Traton group and are now seeking our new Business Controller.
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
Partner up with business owners. Understand the business and apply your financial expertise to drive performance management.
Reporting and analyses within book closing, forecasts and long-term road maps. Recommend actions and strategic choices to reach our targets.
Establish the financial flows and steering model. Navigate a fragmented environment and build coherent structures.
Ensure compliance within all financial regulatory requirements, including tax, transfer pricing and audit obligations.
Provide guidance and support to departments within the autonomous areas on financial matters and business case calculations.
Support business development and strategy activities.
You will belong to the department Finance and Strategy, which supports the business with strategy management, business control and business development. You will cooperate with a wide network of colleagues and stakeholders within Traton and Scania. You will have a great opportunity to learn and share knowledge in an environment where we support each other in our strive for better result.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone eager to understand and help build up an emerging business. You enjoy a fast-paced environment where creative, structural, and communicative skills are key. Major strategic updates should be expected and need to be supported, so flexibility will be important too.
You have work experience from controlling and/or business development and are now ready to take the next step in your career into a more senior position. You have a relevant post-secondary education. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
The position will be placed in Södertälje. We look forward to receiving your application and will carry out interviews on an ongoing basis.
