hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Business Controller to support our efforts in R&D and Customer Projects.
In joining us you will play an important part in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
We are looking for an Business Controller to undertake all aspects of reporting and controlling for our Automotive projects and related R&D activities. You will work with the project teams and coordinate the budget and forecasts preparation & with varied assignments to support the growth of the businesses at each point in time, e.g. in the form of developing business cases.
We believe you have relevant working experience, preferably 3-5 years, either in business controlling or a similar area. If you have worked in a fast-paced international organization with various R&D and development projects that is a plus.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of project budgets, financial forecasts and report variances
- Deliver reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Cash flow analysis and cash flow forecasts
- Define hourly rates and business models for part of our resources.
- Ad hoc analysis to support scenario planning and decision making
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes.
- Development of the ERP system to optimize processes where possible
- Additional controller duties when necessary
- Support accounting operations including project controlling, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

Education/Experience
- BSc/MSc in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Economics
- 3-5 years working experience in controlling or finance
- Experience of project reporting and cost control is essential
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus
- Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
- Highly organized and result-driven
