hela Sverige Business Office is responsible for Finance, IT, Corporate Governance, Strategy and Security within Volvo Penta. In total we are 28 people, all employed in Sweden with a global responsibility.
The Finance department currently consists of 10 persons being Globally responsible for Business Control, Financial Planning & Analysis, Credit Management, Liquidity & Investment control and Processes and Projects.
The function Processes and Projects is the biggest part of the Finance department, today consisting of 5 persons, covering Finance expertise and involvement in all main Volvo processes as well as having the responsibility for Standard Costing, Transfer prices, BI reporting and Business development.
As a Business Control Developer you will be responsible for driving and optimizing various processes from a Business Control perspective. Volvo Penta is now in the starting blocks of developing next generation of services that will include, but is not limited to, connectivity, electrification and automated solutions. The Business Control developer will play an important role in this transformation as Business Control have the global responsibility to design the interfaces between new business development initiatives and all financial processes.
You will act as a bridge between new business development and finance with the responsibility to drive, act upon and implement the financial aspects of all new service solutions.
You will participate in and/or drive projects representing the global Business Control function within Volvo Penta. Financial analyses as well as process optimization will be part of these tasks as well as securing the integration between our business systems/processes and the Finance processes/systems
The Business Control Developer reports to the VP & Head of Finance with duties coordinated by the Director Financial Processes & Projects.

Required Qualifications
• A university degree in either Finance or Business Administration
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the Finance and/or Process improvement area
• Proven experience on delivering timely results
• Proven experience in managing and delivering change
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and analysis
• Beneficial if the applicant has knowledge of finance models of larger industrial companies
• Experience from having worked in the service sector is meriting
• Fluent in English
