We are adding new markets (China) and collaboration with new brands (Navistar) in the TRATON group, creating a truly global TRATON Group. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on our ability to utilize the power of software and data. With global operations, Service Delivery across TRATON brands, and a complex IT landscape utilizing on-prem as well as cloud based services and a combination of in-house and outsourced services, the topic of business continuity becomes critical.

We are now looking for a Business Continuity Manager for IT, who will lead our systematic work with business continuity and our IT crisis management.

Your role and the mission

In this position, you will join the Scania IT Governance, Risk & Compliance team and work in an international environment closely collaborating with and coordinating business continuity work across the global IT community and Corporate functions within the Scania Group. You will get an opportunity to overview and understand the Scania business model from an IT perspective and the possibilities to create a network in the global Scania organisation. You represent IT in Scania corporate work with business continuity and crisis management. Furthermore, you will;

• Define our way of working with business continuity including crisis management within IT.
• Support our IT organisation with relevant methods and training.
• Support the Scania framework/concept for business continuity management in adherence to regulatory, customer and owner requirements.
• Coach our agile teams regarding business continuity.
• Provide our IT management with a holistic overview of our business continuity status.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to continuously develop their competence regarding business continuity and crisis management.
• Participate in risk assessments and planning of relevant testing activities as well as management's self-assessment.

Your mindset & skills

You are self-going, have a passion for moving IT business continuity management forward and seek results, whilst appreciating business' challenges in prioritization. You want to be the spider in the web, like to work cross functional with IT, business and corporate functions. You have excellent communication skills, and can easily and efficiently interact with both executive management and our technical experts. We also believe you;

• Have a broader understanding of IT, its infrastructural components and application services.
• May have previous experience from business continuity work within a global IT organisation that combines on-prem and public cloud based services.
• Are able to analyze risks and understand deficiencies, identify options, and support sound decision making.
• Master English fluently in both speaking and writing. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
