For the development of Care by Volvo - we will strengthen the team with a Business Controller to cover all of our European markets.
What You'll Do
The Business Control & Analytics team is a key business driven function and responsible for a wide range of tasks, including business case modelling, the budget and forecast process, business analysis of actuals and variance. This position is pan-European, will cover all major markets, and will entail responsibilities such as:
* Building models and tools for business cases and business planning with limited information at hand. As the business model and product are evolving, an innovative yet structured approach is key.
* Working closely with the commercial team to develop the product and pricing based on understanding of customer behavior and profitability
* Collaborating with the operational team to develop efficient ways to provide the subscription services
* Providing holistic financial views to facilitate decision making on a wide range of topics in the extensive cross-functional teamwork that forms our modus operandi
* Actively participating in the development of business processes and procedures, methods, information and systems as well as strategies and action plans in order to improve business performance and company profitability
* Developing business cases on specified request

You & Your Skills
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* 4+ years of experience from a relevant position (e.g. business consulting, investment banking background, financial analyst, controller)
* Experience and interest in building complex models for business cases and business planning. Extensive Excel skills is necessary whereas previous database experience is a plus but not a requirement.
* Track record and interest in building something new, not just maintaining existing processes
* Experience and ability to present sometimes complicated findings in a clear and concise manner
* University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other relevant area and fluent in English, speaking and writing
Location
