This puts requirements on the organization to ensure that business architecture, governance, methods, processes, and IT systems are adapted. To secure this, we need to lead, plan, coordinate, study, propose, and efficiently guide business development.
The R&D department of Product Description Development (YM) works with developing processes, methods, and system support to enable speed and modularisation in Scania's product development process. Throughout change management and developing the right conditions for R&D to find the right solutions to create sustainable transport solutions more easily.
VCF Enablement mission is to support R&D with improvements and maintenance of processes, methods, and IT solutions. We work together with business representatives and other partners in cross-functional groups and projects/assignments with the purpose to help them to develop world-class products and services. We participate early in the process, identify demands, detail requirements and describe/visualize the requirements to our partners.
Within the VCT (Value Creation Team) for TESTING, our mission is to proactively identify and make an analysis of demands and provide common methods/processes and IT tools for Scania R&D for physical tests about improvements, good concepts, and solutions with the purpose to develop world-class products and services. The work takes place in close cooperation with business representatives and IT in both cross-functional groups as well as in projects/assignments.
Your main responsibilities
• Your role will be to lead and guide the organization in how to set new business architecture, and processes, and suggest improvements in the transformation together with stakeholders from all over Scania and the other brands within the TRATON Group
• You will supply leadership and communicate with different teams as well as stakeholders on all levels
• You will create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and create and implement business visions and goals.
• You will motivate and take decisions regarding priorities and ways of working
• You will produce all necessary documentation for stakeholders and steering committees
• You will lead and facilitate Workshops and Design Sprints
The competence area we need to strengthen is within business architecture with a person knowing business architecture, business-, and process development, and information modeling and that have participated in this kind of transformation before.
Requirements
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
• 7+ years of experience working as a Business/Solutions/Software Architect or related role
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
• Exceptional communication skills and team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
About you
Important is that you can work independently, can get interested parties and customers engaged and on board, a good leader with the ability to document as well as be communicative. A condition is that you are interested in people and it comes naturally for you to share knowledge with others. You have solid experience and are passionate about business architecture in a changing environment. You have good knowledge about methods and tools for business-, process development and information modeling, agile way of working, and an interest in business and IT.
We believe you can adapt to changes and new input. In the development of new processes, you can create structure when it is temporarily lacking. Previous skills in product structure and knowledge about how Scania works are preferred. Furthermore, interest in an Enterprise Design driven approach is a plus, thus we are constantly improving and refining our way of working and design is an interesting area.
