What you will be doing
We are currently running several ERP systems and is on our way implementing the new common ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX as core ERP system across the organization and are now looking for new colleagues to join our highly driven and competent team.
In this job as a Business Application Support Specialist initially, you will focus mainly on our ERP system Baan , solving application related incidents and verifying application configuration during change activities within one of our business areas. You will communicate with stakeholders in the organization on a regular basis to understand and be able to help and support them, where contact with third line suppliers is part of the responsibilities.
As AX is intended to be the core ERP system of our business in the future, your work will gradually focus more and more on cooperating with colleagues and partners connected to the AX program.
You will also:
• Support local key users to solve incidents
• Handle Incident, Change and Problem management within our Service Desk System
• Be a key player in business application projects
• Be a key player for external IT Partners
• Maintain business applications according to policies and guidelines
• Develop into analyst with deep knowledge about one or more applications
• Develop into areas more related to development for one or more applications
• Train key and end users in new features and applications
• Plan and participate in business requirement meetings, discussions and presentations
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role we believe that you are a skilled communicator with a proactive and solution oriented mindset. You see sharing your knowledge with the team as natural and as a part of your in general logical and structured way of working. You have apositive attitude and high commitment to deliver and meet business targets, ensuring client satisfaction and corporate goal of the organization.
Being an application specialist with at least 3 to 5 years' experience from working with implementation, maintenance and support of ERP systems and projects, you know that your analytical skills and experience of analyzing business models are needed. Further you also have experience and knowledge from several areas connected to sales, service, finance and supply management.
To thrive in our organization you need to be a good communicator with strong business understanding, self- and result driven, and a team player with the ability to prioritize.
Since English is our corporate language we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely when interacting with your international colleagues.
