HR Operations has the responsibility to deliver the most efficient HR services, tools and support to the managers and employees within Volvo Car Group in order for them to focus on what matters most - our products and people. HR Applications is a team within HR Operations consisting of 13 members and we have the responsibility for the global HR application portfolio. We as a team are involved in several projects where we are having an important role of making the delivery successful. We are providing global HR system support to the Volvo Cars employees and managers. In this position you will report directly to the Senior Manager HR Applications.
The Business Application Manager (BAM) SAP is a new role that will focus on implementing and maintaining systems for the US market. As BAM you are responsible for applications from a business and user perspective. As BAM you are both securing that the current system is fulfilling customer needs as well as taking part of the development of the systems and processes forward. If you have strong analytic qualities, good coordination abilities and high customer focus you can be part of our team!
Main responsibilities
• Represent the business and users of the applications in scope
• Govern business and user requirements through application development and maintenance, including developing business requirement specifications
• Be responsible for and provide 2nd/3rd line business support
• Act as the main contact towards IT for securing that the system is fulfilling business requirements
• Express service level requirements towards IT and how and when to follow up
• Identifies areas of improvements and secure proper system enhancement including funding requests
• Represent the application and its users in projects
• Secure that acceptance tests are performed on new or changed applications
• Define adequate security and controls ensuring that the application adheres to IT Security requirements, for example with regards to control of access rights, compliance with the Global Information Standards (GIS), and completion of Application Control Reviews (ACR)
• Secure that adequate training and user documentation is available and provide user trainings
• Ensures administration of user access rights to the application
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent experience in relevant field e.g IT/Computer science
• Relevant experience, at least 4 years from working within system support and/or business application management
• Experience from working within HR or similar business area
• Experience from SAP system and/or Success Factors
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
