About the job
This consultant assignment is placed at a well-known company within the automotive business. They need a Senior Environmental Specialist with a focus on permit processes and compliance. The Environmental team within Manufacturing is a dedicated team with the purpose to support and provide prerequisites for improved environmental performance, such as strategies and targets, environmental management, legal/regulatory requirements.
You will cover permit management, to lead development and coordination of production permits and environmental considerations in larger projects.
Main responsibilities:
* Lead permit applications and similar, for developing or new processes, to secure production
* Coordination of current permit for part of the organisations operations, incl authority communication
* Environmental considerations, incl legal requirements, in projects
* Work independently, cross-functionally and strategically to support and coordinate major changes and/or projects
Required competence or experience:
* University degree with focus on environment or equivalent
* Experience in working with environmental legislation, permit applications and environmental impacts in projects for large industries.
* Fluent in English and Swedish
* Project management skills
We need someone who is a team player with good communication skills, with a mindset to do and deliver at the same time as having the possibility to see long-term and strategical business solutions.
