What you will be doing
As a Business Analyst in the Regulatory Reporting Team you will work in a global environment in our division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions in the area of regulatory reporting linked to trading in financial instruments. The team works in close cooperation with different Business areas, Operations and Technology in an agile setup. As a Business Analyst, you will be an important player in ensuring the business perspective in project deliveries and continuous refinements of the daily regulatory business. Your main responsibility is to translate regulatory requirements into SEB specific business processes and system requirements. You will through an analytical approach solve business problems both on your own and in teams and engage stakeholders throughout the SEB organization. Performing business process reviews and identify gaps between the current and future system landscape is a crucial part of your work as well as providing analytical guidance and support for company projects and initiatives.
Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, we see that you are used to working in a changing environment. You are deeply skilled in making impact analyses and transforming business needs and regulatory requirements into detailed business requirements. You should have several years of experience of the financial industry and its business or a good understanding of the regulations that affects trading and financial instruments. It is also meriting if you know how to read and understand system requirements but not a must. We believe that you have attention to details and you are used to working in an agile environment. You are comfortable working both on your own and in teams as well as collaborating with stakeholders on different levels in the organization. We see that you are an analytical and effective problem solver able to produce high quality work and documentation with tight deadlines.
You have an academic degree in Finance, Business, IT or equivalent. You are fluent in English both spoken and written. Experience from requirement work related to regulations impacting financial instruments such as e.g. MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR or Dodd Frank is meriting but not a must.
