(In this recruitment our client cooperates with SJR in Scandinavia AB.) Our client, a big international FMCG company represents a young, professional and very ambitious organization. Our client is now expanding and there is a need to strengthen the Nordic office in Stockholm with solid financial support from a business analyst. Finance Management for the European organization is though based at the Headquarters in the Netherlands.
Tasks
The main objectives and deliverables for the Business Analyst will be focused on the control of the finance organization in the Nordics. To achieve these objectives the Business Analyst needs to:
• Understand, document and be in control of all financial administrative processes
• Develop and document management control framework
• Execution of monthly closing
• Prepare management reports and analyze business (on a regular basis as well as on own initiative)
• Financial tasks like tax reporting, preparation of annual reports, manage FSSC (AP, AR, bank bookings, accounting, etc)
The responsibility for a business unit with its own financial statement, with substantial and fast developing business, is the ideal learning school for a strong finance career within the organization. You will be part of the finance team based in the Netherlands and report to the business analyst in the Netherlands responsible for the Nordics. You will be based at the sales office in Stockholm but as part of the finance team you will be required to travel to the Netherlands occasionally.
Appropriate background and personality
You have at least a bachelor degree within a business related field, and 2-3 years of work experience within finance environment, accounting or other finance related fields. We will put focus on your personal characteristics and you being the right person for our client. You have to be an analytical, very accurate, driven, self-motivated person that possesses a high level of communication skills. You are able to work independently as well as cooperate with your co-workers within the company. You have the ability to focus on details and investigating unclear or unfamiliar matters. Prior experience from an international company is preferred since you must have the ability to integrate in a culturally diverse environment. The group language is English and Swedish, you are expected to be proficient in English, both orally and in writing. A high level of knowledge in Excel is preferred since Excel and SAP applications (including Business Warehouse) are the main programs to be used.
