We are responsible for deliveries of unique and Powertrain common solutions used by GTO Powertrain Production plants and REMAN sites. We are located in Sweden, France, India, US and Brazil.
We are now looking for a Business Analyst with Lean and Quality focus. In this role you will report directly to the Director for Solution Center Powertrain Production and will be a member of the Management Team. You will have the responsibility for the performance, development, and deliverables of your area. You are accountable for managing and optimizing the Lean development and establish an overall system to monitor the quality and continuously develop a quality culture within your scope.
You will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You have proven experience as a leader, and excel in demonstrating core values. You cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. You have an agile, innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge in your organization. You are comfortable with driving change and have the courage to make decisions. You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Support and coach the organization to develop a Lean and Quality approach, measure efficiency and monitor progress
Support Management Team to develop and drive the strategic initiatives
Contribute to the Lean development in all levels of the organization
Drive or steer Continuous Improvement activities both from a Lean and a Quality perspective
Develop usage of dashboards and measurements
Consolidate quality reports from Solution Center teams input
Analyze to identify recurrent quality issues and recommend improvement actions
Actively interact with VPS communities on local business sites
Be a part of the work with IT Focus Area to contribute to the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) journey in the plants
Align with TD/BAs about KPIs and business impact measurements
Conduct or participate in applicable communities related to Lean and Quality
Participate and contribute in the Agile development journey
We think you also have:
A university degree in computer science or similar
Excellent analytic- and problem solving skills and experience in driving improvement work
Background in Lean, 6 Sigma and/or Quality management and associated tools
Proven experiences in developing and coaching people
Experience from working in a IT delivery organization
Ability to establish and maintain good relations with stakeholders
Fluent in English
Valid work-permit for Sweden if not citizen, no relocation assistance from Volvo
