As part of a significant company wide IS transformation programme a new Global Shared Service (GSS) business unit has recently been established. Over time the business will grow to a spend of c$450m p.a. and will deliver the majority of AZ Application Maintenance and Support and most of AZ Application Development across the entire Global IS function/AZ business. This will be through a combination of outsource and in-house resources. GSS will develop Global standards to reduce duplication, encourage greater cross - functional working and drive up quality delivering a World Class service to its customers.
The role
The Business Analyst finance role will be responsible for delivering the month end close required for GSS and its ongoing budgeting requirements, whilst also developing high quality financial control and reporting processes to support decision-making and drive change. The jobholder will also be responsible for providing local financial reporting and control requirements and a focal point for Corporate IS within Sweden, developing relations with the central finance teams as appropriate.
Minimum experience/requirements
The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant, experienced in financial and management reporting and budgeting within a global organisation and operating within a virtual team. The successful candidate will be self motivated and confident setting and driving their agenda, be confident communicating and developing relations at all levels of the organisation and have a flair for financial analysis, data manipulation and interpretation. They will be confident working with staff inside and outside the Finance community and be able to demonstrate sound commercial judgement.
