Identified as a key area in our servitization journey, Volvo Penta is expanding its contract management team by adding a business analyst to the department. Together with your colleagues you'll grow a profitable contract portfolio, where you act as a business translator between the data analytics and the commercial side of the contract business.
As a business analyst for the Contract portfolio, you will use different data sources to find business insights, which will support the service owner and other stakeholders with information. You drive the business towards being more data driven and data centric. You will do this by detecting new types of insights within existing data, new data sources or by creating new ways to present and visualize data. Moreover, you inspire your colleagues and drive the data-mindset within the team.
You will interact with different project and other parts of the Volvo Penta company to ensure that existing data can still be used and to find opportunities for improvements.
You will drive the process to improve the data quality by interacting with different data owners.

Competence
You are an experienced data analyst or BI analyst who has worked with business data in a complex system environment
You pick up domain knowledge to analyze data, and you understand how data was created and what kind of information you retrieve from it
You have experience working with services and software
You master certain BI applications, working with Power BI is a bonus
You have knowledge in areas such as data architecture, master data management and data quality
You are communicative, have strong analytical skills and like a good joke from time to time
