Our team
The team includes business analysts, product owners, scrum masters, developers, system analysts, business architects, system architects, and a team coach. It consists of people with a mixture of different work experiences, nationalities, genders, and ages. It is also a mixture of people within the Traton brands. The atmosphere of the team can be described with the following words; inclusion, teamwork, and a relaxed attitude.

Your assignment
Within the team you will take on the role as Business Analyst and be a vital part of the agile delivery organisation that develops the CAD/vPDM software platform. The role of the Business Analyst is to lead the gathering of requirements for the electrical design area of the CAD/vPDM platform at Scania. The role is the glue between the design organisation at R&D and the IT development organisation at Scania.
Your main responsibilities will therefore be to..
• Develop SCANIA's future methods and tools for virtual product development, where new possibilities are continuously needed, one of our focuses is on realizing a virtual product as close to reality as possible i.e digital twin.
• Continuously investigate new operational requirements, from minor issues to major investigations and projects, translating them into clear requirements for process, method, and system support related to CAD/vPDM.
• Comprehend how requirements and solutions will impact Scania's processes, methods, and solutions, and when necessary, further develop them.
• Collaborate with the IT team to translate needs into technical solutions, either developed by Scania or in collaboration with our IT suppliers.
• Ensure and test delivered solutions against requirements, working closely with the business.
• Operate in short iterations, closely engaging with both our users and IT providers to deliver value most effectively.

We would also like that..
• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• You have experience as a designer, or product coordinator, and possess a strong interest in Scania's products. It is meritorious with experience from Siemens Capital or electrical design in CATIA and it's a bonus if you have worked with OAS, Catia, Enovia, or 3DExperience.
• You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit. Experience in working with Scania is also a merit.
