Business Analyst
We're looking for a Business Analyst to uncover the insights and recommendations to help us better serve the needs of our thousands of companies and millions of users.
About Kivra
We believe that digital postal services make life easier for both the sender and the recipient, while at the same time contributing to a more sustainable world. Over 1 billion envelopes are sent through Kivra every year, in Sweden alone. We think that there's a better, faster, more secure and more environmentally friendly way to do this. That's why we created Kivra.

What you'll do

You will be part of the Data Team at Kivra. You'll work with product and function teams (your stakeholders) to understand the nuances of their business problems and help them find the insights to solve those problems and make better decisions.

You'll have three typical responsibilities:

• Work together with your stakeholders to develop, improve, and maintain the data, dashboards, reports and visualizations they need to make good business decisions; be responsible for driving the data capabilities within your product team

• As part of the Data Team, be responsible for parts of the team's processes and/or tooling; and maintain and improve the team's capabilities - e.g. areas could include developing and sharing best practices for how we use Tableau in the team, or suggestions on how we design parts of our data warehouse

• Support the business on larger analytics projects - either cross team analytics projects, deep-dives on particular problems, or help drive data initiatives

Who you are

You have the relevant experience and qualifications. You want to join a fun and friendly team, and work hands-on in a high-paced environment with fast decision making. You are analytical and like solving problems.

Furthermore we think that you:

• Are easy going, have a sense of humor and are pleasant to work with

• Have at least 3 years of relevant experience

• Are good at visualizing data and are detail oriented

• Have experience working with BI/visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Power BI, Mode, Data Studio etc. (we use Tableau)

• Have knowledge of SQL

• Are able to combine data from various data sources, and are comfortable with basic data transformations and manipulation

• Can effectively communicate your insights and analytics to stakeholders - you will often be working directly with them

• Can be flexible and pragmatic, and are willing to learn new things and try new approaches

And it would be a bonus if:

• You are familiar with GCP and BigQuery (this is the data warehouse we use)

• You have worked with dbt or Dataform (we use dbt for the bulk of our transformations)

• You have some experience with Python

• Worked with Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar tools (we use Amplitude)

• Know how to work with Git (we use Github)

Additional information

The role is full-time and our offices are based in Stockholm. However, the Data Team has a hybrid work location policy - in practice this means most of the team is in the office ~2 days a week, and come into the office as required for certain workshops or important meetings/discussions.

You will be part of the Data Team and report to the manager of the Data Team. Fluency in English is required and fluency in Swedish is a plus but not required. We are unfortunately not able to sponsor new work permits, but are able to sponsor/renew existing work permits

We offer

Kivra offers a place in a committed team with the opportunity for a high degree of innovation. You will be involved in influencing Kivra's exciting business and product development of a service that is currently used by more than half of Sweden's population. One of Kivra's values is happy-happy, which is also reflected in the concern for Kivra's staff. In addition to collective agreements and wellness, we offer a number of other great benefits.

How to apply

Easy peasy, just send in your CV and cover letter (preferably in English) as soon as possible. The process will look like this:

• Step 1 (Shorter meeting with Talent Acquisition): Let's get to know each other! We'll tell you all there is to know about us, and you get to introduce yourself further.

• Step 2 (learn about the role and meet the team manager):
You will meet with the manager of the Data Team to discuss the Kivra, the role, your experience, and get to know each other a bit better!

• Step 3 (technical interview and meet the team):
You will receive a take-home case. The case should take about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. This case is presented during the second interview, where you will also meet the team. An offer is typically made after this step.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Sarah Ohlsson, Talent Acquisition, at sarah.ohlsson@kivra.com.
