About the role
We are now looking for a curious and high-performing Business Analyst who is driven by data and by understanding the underlying business drivers that propel our company forward. You are good at visualizing your metrics and you focus on actionable insights in your communication with the organization. You understand the importance of data quality, automation, and setting targets for KPIs. What motivates you is always finding ways to improve how we view historical data to better understand and focus on the future.
In your role, your primary focus will be on supporting the sales department with analytics and insights. Tasks will vary significantly between analyzing marketing and sales funnels, setting up reporting structures, and working with the local sales teams on identifying and following up on KPIs and external benchmarks. Over time your role will develop with you and either go deeper into the sales and marketing or broaden in scope, depending on what we together agree is the most valuable way forward - both for the company and for your personal development.
Personal skillset
3+ years of professional experience in enabling business decisions through analytics, preferably in the tech/consumer field. Experience working within a B2B subscription-based business is a plus.
Background in analyzing financial statements and related performance KPIs
Fluent in English and Swedish
You are prestigeless and enjoy working on both strategic and detail-oriented tasks
A strong believer in optimization, automation, and continuous learning
A self-leading "doer" who takes ownership of initiatives and enjoys working structured
You bring positive energy and a creative mindset
What you will do
Create material for management and board
Budget and forecasting
Be a strong business partner to the organization (starting off mainly with the sales department), focusing on improving profitability
Analyze internal and external data to set up core KPIs
Build and maintain insightful dashboards using BI tools (e.g. PowerBI)
Utilize your strong business acumen to help set targets and communicate effectively how to achieve our strategic goals
More about the Business Analytics team
The Business Analytics team, together with the Legal and Accounting teams, forms the Netigate Finance department. The main objective of Business Analytics is to support and improve decision-making by leveraging analytics and paving the way for the company to become a more metrics-driven organization. Business Analytics' responsibility to support with analytics competence and resources spans the entire organization while being based in the Finance department - we are a central analytics hub for all of Netigate.
