We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Business Analyst to join our Visma .net ERP team.
As a Business Analyst , you will work with business analysis, understanding our customer's needs, specifying this in a structured way for our developers. This involves using your background, combining it with more explicit knowledge of the customer's business processes and describing work flows and features in requirement specifications. This work is often assisted by our usability experts. When new features have been developed, you will test these both verifying that the specifications have been followed and testing for quality.
In the Visma .net ERP team, you will work together with colleagues from Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands and Romania and a lot of colleagues from the other teams spread in locations from Nordic countries and also Romania.
We host our applications in the AWS public cloud, and we follow agile methodologies closely collaborating with our customers and stakeholders. Working language is English and our development methodology is Scrum.
You will be working in a highly skilled team of other Quality Assurers and developers. You will also get training in selected topics like requirements engineering and software testing.
Responsibilities and work tasks:
Requirements engineering based on needs from our stakeholders and users
Quality assurance and testing
Verify that new functionality fulfils the requirements
Follow up on items in the error reporting system
Suggest priority of backlog items/stories/features according to market values, final prioritization must be done together with the Product owner
Support the developers in understanding and detailing the stories/specifications
Create and maintain the user documentation in English
Investigate and propose solutions for escalated support cases (3rd line of support)
We believe that you have:
University degree in the field of finance or accounting or computer science
You either have background from accounting and like to challenge yourself in a more technical direction, or you have a technical background with interest in accounting and/or ERP systems
Experience with logistics is an advantage
Technical understanding in the areas of software and SQL databases is beneficial
A good eye for work processes and good usability
Experience from testing and test systems
Personal skills:

Analytical mindset and well organized with attention to details
Self-motivated and self-driven
User experience and customer satisfaction oriented
Fluent in English speaking and writing as English is the working language
