The Strategy and Business Development department within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology (SMRT) has the overall responsibility for global business intelligence and business development, and we ensure consistent and up to date information on market and business trends combined with internal expertise to drive our business forward. To join our continuous journey, we are now looking for a Business Analyst to help us improve our fundamental knowledge bank and analytical tools, and thereby play an important role in our future success.

The location for this position is at the World Trade Center in Stockholm, Sweden.

Welcome to our company
SMRT offers the world's most comprehensive range of tools for rock drilling, raise boring, coal cutting, road grading and mineral mining. Through proprietary production processes and extensive in-house competence, we continually develop new solutions that improve our customers' operations and delivery of superior performance at lower cost. Our company and technology are often perceived as quite exciting, but it all comes down to our people - the bearers of innovation and culture.

Your mission - supporting our market intelligence journey to ensure an outstanding future
In this role, you're involved in the development of our market intelligence fact base, systems and tools - always with both short- and long-term goals in mind. Your ambition is to help us build a strong foundation, to ensure that we're constantly improving and staying at the forefront in our field. You do this by keeping the organization up to date with industry developments, identifying gaps between us and our peers and supporting a fact-based decision making. To ensure continuous improvements, you recommend action and provide strategic improvement initiatives when needed. The key to success in this role is to manage how information is transferred internally and externally to ensure that everyone is on the same page and knows what needs to be done to succeed.

Your character - an analytical and driven doer with a passion for business
We are looking for someone with a Master's in Business or Engineering, and at least two years' relevant work experience. You're comfortable using Office 365, and it's advantageous if you're familiar with the Salesforce CRM tool. As we operate on the global stage, your verbal and written English skills are advanced, and knowledge of other languages used within the group is a plus.

Your personality makes us better! Your analytical mindset and self-driven approach stand out to us, and as a team player with great communication skills, you set the standard for how we reach our business goals. On top of this, you have an eye for details and quality, and you always strive to better yourself and our company. We look forward to meeting you!

At Sandvik, we believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background will lead to a better environment for our employees, our business and, thereby, our customers.
