Your principal duties and accountabilities will be:
• Produce Product Requirements documentation.
• Ownership of all necessary requirement documentation, specifications and other related documents.
• Liaise with all project stakeholders from specifications to development and testing.
• Perform technical writing and business report writing.
• Involved in client workshops and presentations to gather and validate user requirements.
• Prepare the necessary prototype, wireframe and use cases.
• Assist in the development and quality assurance activities and test plans.
• Provide product expertise to development colleagues through training and assistance.
• Perform research and analysis of new product features/requirements.
The Business Analyst is a client-facing member of the Product Team. He/she may also participate in client engagement programs to provide product presentation, workshop, training and implementation assistance.
Key skills and experience
• Graduate of Computer Science, Software Design or related fields or equivalent experience.
• IP (Intellectual Property) Qualification of some kind is highly desired
• Experience of product development process, including of User Interface design and Client beta engagement.
• Relevant work experience in business analysis or comparable role.
• Knowledge in use cases definition and requirements gathering/analysis methodologies.
• Knowledge and/or experience in agile software development (e.g. SCRUM) is highly desirable.
• High analytical/logical ability
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good assertiveness and influencing skills.
• Be able to provide basic statistical representation skills and perform cost-benefit and impact analysis.
• Extensive experience in requirements analysis. Be able to manage and prioritise issues/requirements (log, communicate etc) in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong assessment/evaluation skills (examine aspects, options etc).
• Must be able to learn new skills and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to self-evaluate and quickly adapt to changes.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders (including external clients) and members of the team.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.
• This role might require domestic and overseas travel.
