The Global Data Warehouse, BI and Reporting organization work with the strategic development of the BI Tools and Global Data Warehouse for the Dentsply Sirona Group for the eleven strategic business units for the Dentsply Sirona group by supporting the management in operating and growing their businesses. This team works cross-functionally, which means that you will interact with many functions primarily finance and sales, but also supply and operations.
The purpose of this Global Data Warehouse is to have one data repository, the single truth for the complete Dentsply Sirona Group
Your key accountabilities are:
• Link between the business, IT and finance
• Manage ongoing relations with finance as an business partner to drive satisfaction within finance and align with the financial process
• Deliver BA support for related finance requirements in interface and reports workflows
• Coordinate with BI developer to make sure all requirements will be taken care and review solution proposals and test cases in the financial process
• Participate in the development of financial reporting, forecasts and budgets providing financial results and cost drivers to take action on deviations
• Challenge business demands ensuring value for money is achieved
• Responsible for the reconciliation between statistical data Global Data Warehouse and reported figures to wall street
• Ensure adherence to global finance processes to the finance community if needed to align on policies, principles and guidelines
• Education, training and facilitate workshops for the finance user community
• Perform pre-studies and deep dives within projects or for certain topics
• Collect the SBUs business specifics needs and requirement in the digital development
• Ad hoc analysis and reports
Who you are
In the role as Business analyst it is important that you can work independently, but also find it stimulating to work in a team as well as in a multicultural and multinational environment. You should find comfort in working with ongoing system and process changes.
We believe you have
• An academic background, with relevant university degree within finance or related field
• Strong presentation and communication skills with great structure
• Ambition to understand complex environment
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Critical and Analytic Thinking: you like to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on your findings. You like to work with large amounts of data, facts, figures and number crunching. You are able to see through the data and analyze if to find conclusion.
• Process driven thinking and ability to understand complex environment
• Good knowledge in Excel (today we utilize Smartview, which is an Excel add-in for retrieving data from Hyperion BI tools)
• Good knowledge in Microsoft products, especially Power BI or other products like QlikView/Sense, Power Query, Power Pivot but also SQL and MDS (Master Data Services) is preferable
