• As a Business Analyst you work as part of a Scrum Team (IT) which delivers new data in Central Data Warehouse (CDW) to fulfill regulatory and business demands.
• Business analysts work closely with the consuming project on the translation of business requirements into tangible DW data requirements, after completing in-depth gap analysis.
• The role requires clear understanding of all data requirements and documenting them according to our policies, processes and standards.
• The role may also support the coordination of source system changes, test file requests and quality assurance, and contribute to many processes and team tasks that ensure timely delivery of new data to production
Main Skills
• IT knowledge: Understanding of DWH and Business Intelligence (BI) architectures and solutions within the banking industry
• Strong business requirements management methods in an enterprise DW environment
• Experience from working within Finance and/or Banking, in at least one of the following areas: Risk/Regulatory Management, Financial Controlling, Treasury/ALM, Capital Markets (especially product knowledge), Accounting.
- Communication and moderation skills: deep experience in guiding discussions and moderating
• Structured way of working and documentation of work, following the agreed standards
• Responsible and ensuring transparency in delivery and communicating progress
• Experience working in agile development teams, or at least having the ability to quickly understand and adapt to working Agile in a Scrum Team
• Ideally SQL knowledge and experience and able to navigate in relational database systems (esp. Teradata)
• Ideally having a methodological background working with business information modelling, functional and ER models
