Our Data, Analytics & AI organization is focused on unleashing the value of data collected from connected customer assets. We aim to drive the transformation into a data driven culture, where Data, Analytics & AI/ML are an integral part in our services and internal processes. By connecting Data Foundation, Data Analytics and Data Science we can provide our stakeholders with actionable insights and take ownership of the whole process from ideation and exploration to operations. We work with our stakeholders across Volvo Group to increase performance and generate new value for our customers and society at large by utilizing data from various sources, with an emphasis on positioning and communications data from connected vehicles.
You will be part of the Data Foundation function within Data, Analytics and AI. In Data Foundation, we act as a catalyst and take responsibility of managing and delivering data-centric services to Volvo Group Connected Solutions, as well as other stakeholders across the Volvo Group. We also work closely with the Data Science and Data Analyst teams to make data available for various dashboards, AI/ML models in operation, and data explorations. For more senior applicants, there are opportunities to focus more on e.g., leading your colleagues in projects, or be part of our project portfolio discussions.
Key Responsibilities
As Business Analyst in the Data Foundation team, you will work cross-functionally together with our teams within Volvo Group Connected Solutions as well as with stakeholders across the Volvo Group, to capture needs and requirements and to continuously experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives. You will be part of the Data Foundation scrum team and you will be leading the team deliveries using SAFe Methodology.
In this role, you are expected to build a thorough understanding of the Volvo Group Connected Solutions data landscape, and the responsibility of the different teams, connecting business questions to the specific data items needed. You will collaborate with the various development teams within Volvo Group Connected Solutions to ensure effective data collection and a long-term focus on improved data quality.
Your Profile
As a successful candidate you need to have bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, with proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
You need to have strong communication, business acumen and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. You are proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering. You also have an excellent documentation skills and experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
You hold a valid work permit for Sweden, if not an EU citizen.
