About the R&D IT team
R&D IT's vision is to deliver the best science IT capabilities in biopharma and oncology, which we define as agile, responsive and fit-for-future. Our goal is to engage with our stakeholders as a strategic partner in delivering life-changing medicines to our patients. The desired effect of your role is to take accountability as a leader for delivering a 'Best in Class' IT experience within R&D IT.
This is what you'll do
You will perform business analysis and design - either independently delivering small to medium size business change activities, or as a member or lead of a BA team in a large or global business change. You will operate with a high level of interactive communication, demonstrating high levels of inclusion and cultural sensitivity. The role will partner with the Business Relationship Manager, being accountable for delivering high quality cases, business process designs and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs. You will also collaborate with IT Architecture, Delivery and Support to ensure clear understanding of requirements and effective testing so that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meeting the customer experience expectations. Share best practices in relevant communities of practice, contributing to internal IT processes and standards for analysis and design.
Accountabilities:
* Business Needs Identification and Business Analysis Planning
* Stakeholder Analysis & Change
* Requirements Analysis & Design Definition
* Definition of business cases
* Solution Evaluation - Highly proficient in analyzing and assessing solution proposals and able to articulate supporting reasoning. i.e. assessing business readiness, improving value vs. spend.
* Test Lead to define the testing approach and the components of testing
* Organisational Change/Communication Lead
Requirements
To succeed in this role we believe that you have excellent engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a role where you have the opportunity to present, negotiate, mentor and influence on all levels. You have previously successfully deployed a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change in a regulated environment. You have experience from working with complex integrated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results.
You will also need:
* Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
* Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
