Job description
Our customer, a well-known international company within the automotive industry, is implementing a manufacturing execution system (MES) solution in their engine plant in Skövde. As a Business Analyst you will be a part of the implementation team of MES and work in close cooperation with the business and IT organization. Together with the IT organization and business representatives you will compile functional and non-functional requirements and update Global Engine Functional Design documentation.
Your tasks include:
* Analyze and document architectural design for MES
* Analyze requirements and corresponding use cases for MES
* Proactively act as advisor to the IT organization for design and solution decisions of MES and for architectural and design decisions for MES.
* Support the IT organization in collaboration with the MES system supplier GE
* Support knowledge transfer to the IT organizations project team members
The assignment is due to start 5/2-2018 and end by 28/12-2018.
Who are you?
For this assignment, we are looking for a candidate with experience of working as a Business Analyst. It is meritorious if you have previously worked in the automotive industry. Your domain knowledge spread from equipment, through MES to ERP and with MQ as message broker. Since our customer has chosen GE Proficy as global MES platform you need to have experience from this application suite, which includes; GE Proficy SOA, GE Proficy Simplicity, GE Proficy Tracker, GE Proficy Global View.
We value that you have the ability to work independently and that you are solution-oriented, creative and forward-looking. You have good communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English.
