City Mobility is a newly formed Team within Volvo Buses. The team will focus on complete solutions for cities, leveraging fuel efficient and environmentally sustainable passenger transports in combination with efficient planning of traffic. The City Mobility Team will support the Business Regions with key city mobility competence throughout the business development, sales and project execution phases.
BRT Director
As BRT Director you report directly to SVP City Mobility.
In this position you are responsible for defining and supporting the implementations of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) solutions for cities around the globe in close cooperation with Public Transport Authorities, service operators and city authorities. You are also responsible for analyzing the efforts needed to integrate possible solutions into the existing public transport systems.
Profile:
• A deep understanding for available transport solutions (technologies, products and services) is a must in order to take on this position.
• You should also have a commercial and customer oriented approach with focus on selling a complete solution.
Required skills and experience:
• International experience dealing with public procurement in early stages.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders in global environments, dealing with technical, strategic and political dimensions
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Extensive travel will be required.
