We are part of the Heavy duty Chassis Product Development Department. The team you will belong to, team Product Governance and Customer Adaption, have responsibilities within geometry assurance, quality control, material handling and customer adaptation. We are involved in vehicle projects, advanced engineering research and maintenance phase within the Volvo Group Trucks area.

Your tasks and responsibilities as Build & Update Leader
The work as a Build & Update Leader is to represent chassis department in Gothenburg. Your main responsibility is to be chassis department responsible when it comes to project builds, rig updates and rebuilds. Also to coordinate and order parts for chassis department when needed for builds, field tests projects etc. You will be the link between the design engineers and the project managers.

Who are you?

You are also skilled in bringing people with you where communication, fact and energy are decisive. As the rest of our team you should have an open positive attitude, be target oriented, agile and accountable together with good ability to work with people at different levels since the network is broad within the company. You shall have a general technical interest and be curious, be able to take own initiatives, committed to finalize the tasks and have a strong drive for improvements.
You are an engineer and/or have technical background
Truck product knowledge and/or automotive industry
English profficiency
Advantages:
Knowledge of Volvo systems and working methods such as PROTOM, KOLA, CREO
Experience of Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis components
