Avalanche Studios Stockholm is looking for a Build / DevOps Engineer who will work on our upcoming AAA title Contraband - a co-op smuggler's paradise game set in the fictional world of 1970s Bayan. Contraband is a brand-new IP published by Xbox Game Studios.
You will:
• Be a core person to maintain and implement project's pipeline automation as well as build and deployment systems
• Consult on and administer branching strategy, branch creation and large-scale merges
• Collaborate with Dev Teams to optimize build structure, its times and deployment pipeline
• Create, configure and optimize product settings on digital distribution platforms
• Identify and solve high-profile pipeline issues that impact the local project, like export pipeline failures, build system crashes, and performance bottlenecks
• Develop, administer and maintain production tools
We have lots of cutting edge practices in place but still lots more to build, so you will not lack a challenge.
Qualifications
• Shipped at least one AAA game project as Build Engineer / DevOps
• Great understanding of AAA build pipeline
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or other cloud computing platform
• Experience with Perforce or another major source control system
• Experience with a scripting language (C#, Python, batch files, shell)
• Experience with Jenkins or other major CI tool
• Experience with PlayFab, Xbox Live, Steam or other platform-specific Online services and APIs
• Excellent English
