As a Build Engineer, you will work with our world-class Build & Infrastructure team to design, build and support our new build system that will be used to produce projects created on our award winning Snowdrop Engine.
This is a full-time position that requires relocation to Malmö, Sweden.
Responsibilities
Design & Implement Build Processes
Work with Data Managers to meet their needs
Work with the project to support our engine development
Design Unit Tests for the build system and the game engine
Packaging of code, data, and sound archives
Adapt build system to 3rd party requirements
You as a candidate
We are looking for someone that is service minded and has experience with designing and building software and tests for software development. You are very flexible and have a proactive problem-solving approach, as well as outstanding communication skills. You should be autonomous and good at taking initiatives.
Required skills and experience
Awesome Python programming skills
Experience and interest in designing unit tests
Understanding of Versioning Systems
An interest in safekeeping and organizing data
Web backend experience
Analytical mind eager to solve problems
Game Industry experience is a big plus
Experience in software design, with reusability/flexibility/modularity in mind
PowerShell experience is an asset
Build System experience, especially Jenkins is a plus
