Job summary:
Avalanche Studios is currently looking for a build engineer to work within our Central Technology Group. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a distributed build system.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining a distributed, cross- and multi-platform build system
Maintaining our current source control solution (Perforce)

Requirements:

Good knowledge in scripting languages, preferably Python
Good knowledge and documented experience in configurable build tools such as Make or Jam.
Experience in source control management tools such as Perforce, Subversion or GIT is advantageous.
Experience in Perforce scripting and building Perforce add-ons is advantageous
Knowledge and experience of programming, C/C++
Experience and good knowledge in Unix.
Experience and good knowledge in Visual Studio
Ability to analyze and understand problems
Possesses a positive "can-do" attitude
Excellent communication skills and knowledge in English
A strong sense of quality.
A university degree in computer science or equivalent is advantageous.
Keen ear to identify problems and present constructive and creative solutions.
